Headmaster Bruce Lindberg had high praise both for the students as well as the school's Student Services Department. "I applaud our senior students for recognizing the importance of furthering their education after they leave us at Lee Academy. I have every confidence that they are well prepared to meet the challenges of college life thanks to the time they spent at LA," he said.
"The fact that so many of our seniors are choosing to attend post-secondary schools is a real testament to the dedication and hard work of the members of our Student Services and Guidance department. They are all to be commended," said Lindberg.
Founded in 1845, Lee Academy serves local day students from twenty-three Maine towns, and boarding students from across Maine, the United States and world. Recent boarding students have come from sixteen states, seven Asian countries, five Central American/Caribbean countries, ten European countries, Australia, Israel and Canada.
