By Office of Institutional Advancement Patty Corbin

Lee, Maine  Patty Lynn Corbin was a Lee Academy honor student and a valued member of both the cross country and ski teams. A 17-year-old junior, Patty was killed in an automobile accident May 8, 2002, while returning home from an after school appointment.

Most memorable about Patty was her endearing personality and caring demeanor, including her giggle and beautiful smile. A sincere friend to all who knew her, a scholarship was established at Lee Academy in her memory and each spring, friends, family and strangers alike gather for a 5K run/walk, intended to honor her memory while benefiting the scholarship fund established in her name.
