Dear Friends and Family of Lee Academy:
Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year of Lee Academy. Since 1845 Lee Academy has been providing quality education to students with a thirst for knowledge. This year is no exception, fourteen advanced placement courses are being offered to our current students.
Lee Academy prides itself on the safe learning environment it provides to the many students that walk through the doors. This year students throughout Maine and the world will experience Lee Academy. Our improved facilities and expanded academic offerings should broaden the horizon for all these students.
Last year brought athletic championships in both cross country and basketball. Our fine arts department demonstrated their excellence in on campus displays and state wide competitions. As has become standard, the Lee Academy math team continues to be recognized as one of the best in the state of Maine. One of our students qualified for the National Math Competition in Pennsylvania.
Lee Academy is a special place for its students, teachers and alums. We hope you find this web site both informative and easy to navigate.
