We offer a comprehensive place-based high school curriculum. Offering students a broad choice in the courses they take, ranging from introductory English, Math and Science to an Advanced Placement curriculum. A wide range of extra-curricular groups and activities are offered to all students. Students graduating from LA will be well prepared for the rigors of a United States University or College.
Students are immersed in outdoor and environmental education semester or short term programs throughout the year. This program is also a critical part of the school curriculum and serves as a base for outdoor adventures. Problem solving, collaboration, and communication skills are strengthened while having fun and making new friends. Time spent “unplugged” in the pristine wilderness allows for reflection and increased mindfulness.
This program is designed to assist student-athletes from around the world in grades 9-12 & post graduate students. This program consists of both a National and Regional team , based on skill level and age. The Regional team competes in games throughout New England, while our National team competes at the AAA, NEPSAC level and plays up to forty games in a season. These games include major recruiting tournaments throughout the country. Skill development, strength, conditioning and training are major components of this program. Limited distractions allow athletes to focus in academics, organizational skills and time management.
