In 2016-17 he helped guide the Pandas to a 15-2 record and a second-place finish in the MASAID. Over the last two seasons, he has guided the Pandas to a 42-25 record.
Prior to Lee Academy, Coach Dan spent two seasons at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY. Over those two seasons, he helped Hartwick to two conference tournaments and one NCAA Tournament appearance.
Coach Dan also spent two seasons coaching at SUNY Cobleskill in New York, where he was responsible for practice planning, individual player development, recruiting, and scouting. Over the course of the two seasons, they earned one conference tournament appearance.
Coach Dan graduated from Daniel Webster College in 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management. He played soccer, basketball, and baseball and was a team MVP and two-year captain. A graduate of Downsville Central School in New York, Coach Dan was a part of three straight section championship teams that posted an 88-9 record over four seasons. He was named 2004 Walton Reporter Athlete of the Year.
Coach Dan is an avid UNC and New York sports fan as well as a fan of MMA. He can often be heard yelling at his TV.
