Coach Doc

Coach Doc graduated from Fisher College in 2017, earning his Bachelor Of Arts in Communications and Media Services while part of the men’s basketball team. He was a senior captain and the winner of the Ryan Henry Award. He also made the Association Of Independent Institutions Conference Tournament two out of the three years he played; he and his team had winning records in all three seasons: 21-7, 16-10, and 20-9.

Coach Doc started his coaching career at the age of 18; he was an assistant coach for the class of 2019 New Haven Heat Basketball family team for three years. He then became the Head Coach for the class of 2021 New Haven Heat Basketball Family team (not only a coach but one of the top recruiters for the program) and was a part of four Connecticut AAU State Championships with the New Haven Heat. In addition, during the summer breaks, Coach Doc gave back to his old high school and coached the Hamden High Varsity summer league team for four years. In both programs he helped with personal skills development with players.

Coach Doc graduated from Hamden High School in 2013. He was a basketball standout, starting out as a point guard and playing varsity for all four years. He was chosen as a senior captain for the Dragons, in addition to other honors including being named to the All Southern Connecticut Conference his senior year and being named a member of the New Haven Tap-Off Club All Area Team.
