Annual Panda Fund: Support Lee Academy's Students and Teachers

Dear Lee Academy Family,

"Now More Than Ever" our students, teachers, and community need your support. John Mellencamp's music resonates with the themes of kindness, neighbors helping neighbors, and love of community. When I hear Mellencamp’s “Small Town” or “Now More Than Ever,” I think of Lee Academy. For over 175 years, our school has provided an inspiring educational experience for our students across our region and around the world. Unlike schools that focus on one township, Lee Academy is a small school currently serving 96 area students, but its geographic reach encompasses over 1,000 square miles. We have students from Princeton and Vanceboro to our east -- Wytopitlock, Kingman, and Winn to our north -- Burlington to our south. -- and many more communities in between. We provide educational access to the area’s rural students serving approximately one student every 10 square miles. Since 1845 and for generations of students, Lee Academy has been the foundation in supporting our area students and communities. We have been resilient, enduring, and steadfast through the challenging economic hardships and most recently, the Covid pandemic. "Now More Than Ever," Lee Academy needs your support.

Your donations to the Annual Panda Fund directly support faculty with additional resources to enhance their teaching, allow Lee Academy to offer our students a wide array of sports and artistic activities, and address much-needed campus renewal projects. Your generous donation to the annual fund supports life-enriching activities such as the recent trips to the Farnsworth Art Museum and the Strand Theater in Rockland. We want our students to have the academically inspiring, joyful Lee Academy experience.

Lee Academy has always striven to serve and support our students. Though we have always been a small school with limited resources, we, as alumni, parents, and family of Lee Academy, have always aspired for our students to have the opportunities that larger, more resourced schools provide their students. We want our students to explore, mature, discover their path, and realize their dreams. "Now More Than Ever," our students need your support.

Your generous support of the Annual Panda Fund will have an extraordinarily positive impact on our students and community. Thank you for clicking the link above and donating to the Lee Academy's Panda Fund.
I wish you and your family a happy, healthy, and joyful holiday season.
